Century Oaks Apartments

Project consisted of infilling an existing apartment complex with additional units and adding enclosed garages for tenant use.  The existing apartment complex was developed in the early 1980’s and did not have the density that the new owners wished to achieve.  Challenges consisted of dilapidated drainage and detention structures, working with existing utility locations, and bringing the site up to current code with water quality and detention requirements while preserving as many trees and existing features on site. 

The project is designed to be developed in two phases.  The first phase consisting of adding the garages for tenant use and the second phase consisting of adding additional units and parking.

Infill sites present definite challenges when working around existing conditions, but offer the advantage of a developed infrastructure.
